Mandela Day 2024

Africa Mobility Services (AMS) proudly participated in Mandela Day – South Africa on July 18th. Mandela Day honors Nelson Mandela, the iconic South African leader who fought against apartheid and championed human rights. This special day, marking his birthday, is dedicated to service and community engagement, encouraging people worldwide to spend 67 minutes contributing positively, reflecting Mandela’s 67 years of work for justice and equality.

In celebration of this day, Africa Mobility Services (AMS) joined global efforts by donating pens and pencils to the Emthonjeni Community Centre in Zandspruit Informal Settlement, Johannesburg- South Africa . These donations came from the Africa Mobility Services “Right to Write”  Campaign where Partners, Customers and Colleagues donated pen and pencils.  These items will support the Community’s Recycle Swop Shop initiative, which enables residents to exchange recyclable items like glass, paper, and tin for essential goods, including school supplies for children.
